PDF to images
A screenshot is not the answer
It crops what is on the screen at the screen's resolution, so the picture comes out soft and fit only for viewing. Exporting directly gives the page at its own resolution.
Export the imagesJPG or PNG
There are two sides to this: turning a whole page into an image, or pulling out the images embedded inside the document. The first is for viewing and sharing, the second for when the picture itself is the point.
JPG or PNG
Choose JPG
For pages with photographs and smooth colour gradients. The file is lighter and the difference does not show in ordinary viewing.
Choose PNG
For pages with text, lines and drawings with hard edges. The edges stay clean and the file is heavier in exchange.
Resolution
The resulting image cannot exceed what the document already holds. A page built from a low-resolution scan comes out at that resolution whatever format you pick.
How it works
- Turns JPG and PNG into PDF, and a PDF into JPG, PNG or plain text
- Takes files up to 100 MB and up to 50 files in one task
The commercial side
- Let you download the result without a subscription — running the tool is open to everyone, the download is not
- Keep your converted file afterwards — a server-side result is held for 60 minutes and then deleted
